This years first trip was to include many things. The group consited of six people and myself and Branka. We left the Uk on April 19th and landed the next day in Beijing to start our adventure in China. For the next 16 days the group was subjected to an intensive 'China' experience. We visited the sites of Beijing ( the forbidden City, the summer palace, the temple of heaven, beihi park, Jingshen park, Tianeman Square etc etc) also many of the local dishes were sampled as well as many of the local beers and spirits, a good time had by all. Then the serious business started, we went by train to Changsha and visited the Highlight English school where the group got to meet some of the local students of english. From there we hooked up with Master Fang and went by mini bus to Nantai Temple on the holy mountain. Training was commenced with gusto and much work. Also much walking through some beautiful scenery. I think this experience was very special to the group as a whole and also very enlightening to many individuals. After we bid farewell to many new found friends in the monastry we went back to Beijing and continued our exploration with a trip to the 'wild wall', an acrobats show and a kung fu show, all this in 16 days untill a very exausted party returned to the Uk and 'normality'.
